Hives with lethargy, vomiting, or collapse are not a monitor-at-home allergy.

| Vet vs poison control vs ER | Localized mild swelling can often be directed by your regular vet by phone. Facial swelling, hives with lethargy, vomiting, or breathing changes are ER now. Poison control is secondary unless a toxin was also involved. |
Sudden weakness, pale gums, repeated vomiting, or respiratory effort after a sting are emergency signs.
Previous mild reactions can be followed by worse ones — history matters.
Swarm events add toxin load even without classic allergy. Say how many stings you roughly saw.
Keep other pets indoors if a nest was disturbed.
